We’re back on the road today with an article on a world-famous site in the United States, I named Death Valley! I propose today to discover our mini trip and the 3 must-place of this incredible site!
3 must-see places at the Death Valley
Badwater Basin
A visit to Badwater Basin is a unique experience! This big salty land is the lowest in North America, 282 feet (86m) under sea level.

The Devil’s Gold course
A huge area of rock salt eroded by wind and rain in jagged arrows. The site owes its name to the fact that these points are so incredibly tight that “only the devil could play golf on such rough links”.

Zabriskie Point
One of the most famous views of the park, very popular at sunrise and sunset and is a great place to make beautiful pictures!
You can choose to simply admire the view or choose to go hiking! Trails lead to Golden Canyon, Gower Gulch and the Red Cathedral.

Tips for visiting Death Valley
Get info!
Before any trip on the different sites of Death Valley, don’t forget to inquire about the sites that are open when you go and the possible restrictions of access to some places (some will require a 4-wheel at least).
For that, you can browse the website of the Death Valley National Park!
Well plan the logistics!
Before going on a trip to Death Valley, do not forget (ever) the following:
- Water, water and more water!
- Sun cream!
- Hat/Cap!
- A map (phones and GPS don’t do well there)
- Your itinerary
- Food
- A car with enough gas and AC!
