Wedding anniversary, what do we do?

Bride to be or newlywed (like me!), you are wondering how you will be celebrating your first wedding anniversary? Welcome on my blog! I’ll be very soon celebrating my first wedding anniversary ❤ And with my hubby, the big question is: how are we going to celebrate that?

Traditional wedding anniversaries, do we follow or not?

Some time ago, I had read on the internet that, some couples, to celebrate their wedding anniversary, would offer each other presents in accordance with the year of marriage they are celebrating.

Meaning, cotton anniversary = something in cotton, etc… Personally, I love the idea of having a yearly ritual, I’m a big fan of habits, rituals and traditions.

So, I’m trying to convince my hubby to create this tradition for us but he is not really convinced by some of the years lol I must confess, some years are more inspiring than others (Cyprus really?!?!) … or quite expensive (Hello Diamond!!!).

But, I think that with a bit of imagination, we can turn things to our advantage while still keeping up to the theme, no? 😉 Well, right now, this argument doesn’t really work on my other half, but I’m not giving up yet 😉 We’ll see in a few days if I managed to convince him! 😀

Every wedding anniversary by year:
